Facilitation and Creative Control

 

This is an action research project to examine how disabled people who need to use other filmmakers and technicians as practical facilitators can retain creative control over the filmmaking process. How can disabled filmmakers and facilitators work together to translate the filmmaker's concept to screen whilst minimising the facilitator's imprint?

Working with an award winning disabled people's arts organisation, we are drawing up recommendations for good practice which will then be included on this website.
