The Resistance symposium sets out to explore contemporary critical and cultural representations of disability from both an academic perspective and from the perspective of practising artists and arts organisations. The symposium will include presentations by Liz Crow, Professor Dan Goodley and Dr Lucy Burke of the Critical Disability Studies network at Manchester Metropolitan University and a roundtable discussion involving Liz Crow and Chris Hammond of Full Circle Arts.
